Kathy Roberg

Kathy Roberg, a Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration, taught elementary school in several states for 21 years. Later, she served as a director of religious education, a youth minister and a teacher of English as a second language. Currently living in Spokane, Washington, she serves immigrants, women and children, and homeless people, and volunteers at the Women and Children’s Free Restaurant and Community Kitchen.

Aren't these migrants fleeing from slavery, government controls, poverty, drug violence, climate crises, child trafficking and prostitution — all in search of a better way, a "promised land"?
