Mahdalyna Nadiya Vytvytska is a sister of the Order of St. Basil the Great in the Province of the Most Holy Trinity, Ukraine. After studying law, philosophy and theology, she professed perpetual vows in 2008. Later she received a doctoral degree in canon law. Since 2019, she has been the deputy chairperson of the Patriarchal Commission of Monasticism of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. She also teaches canon law at the Basilian Institute of Philosophical and Theological Studies and the Institute of Catechetics and Pedagogy.
