Maureen Catabian

Maureen Catabian is a Filipina religious of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd. She made her first profession on April 24, 1991, and final profession on Sept. 8, 1996. Catabian has been a councilor of the province leadership team of the Religious of the Good Shepherd for nine years. She was the coordinator of the Women, Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Office of the Philippines from 2002 to 2014 and the Asia-Pacific Justice Peace Network coordinator of the Good Shepherd International Justice Peace Office in New York. She completed an internship at the United Nations Economic and Social Council in 2006. Catabian was also the prenovitiate formator in Senegal and Burkina Faso for six years. She has worked with vulnerable women and girls in Good Shepherd temporary shelters, in prison and in poor communities.
