Viorica Valeria Maximiliana Şanta

Sr. Viorica Valeria Maximiliana Şanta is a Sister of the Order of Saint Basil the Great, from Romania. Currently, she is working at the confessional kindergarten "Sfântă Ana" and completing her master's degree in counseling and psycho-pedagogical assistance at the Babeş University - Bolyai Cluj-Napoca Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. She is also a member of the Youth and Children Pastoral Office of the Greek Catholic Diocese of Cluj-Gherla, where she spends significant time catechizing and organizing activities for the development of young people and children.

A unique and spiritually enriching experience at World Youth Day

The courage of the young people, their yearning for Christ, and their hunger for communication and interaction with others filled me with admiration. When I looked around, I saw young people kneeling, silent young people — one thought, one prayer.
