"Ask a Sister" podcast episode 127 was recorded live on January 16, 2013. In this Random Nun Clip from that show, a listener asks, "What is the most unexpected part of being a sister?" Our guest nuns Sr. Barbara Vano, OSF, and Sr. Deborah Borneman, SSCM, respond.

Sr. Barbara is a Sister of Saint Francis and director of Campus Ministry at Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio. Sr. Debbie is a Sister of Saints Cyril and Methodius and associate director of the National Religious Vocation Conference in Chicago, Ill.

GSR shares clips from our friends at  A Nun’s Life Ministry, which has a live prayer podcast on Monday (excluding holidays) at 4 p.m. Central Time and other live podcasts throughout the month: “Ask Sister,” “Motherhouse Road Trip” and “In Good Faith.” Dates and times for the full, live episodes are listed on their program schedule.
