FSPA to offer presentation on ecological crisis action

On Tuesday, Nov. 9 from noon to 1 p.m. Central Time, the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration Ecospirituality In Action Team will present “Laudato Si’ and FSPA,” via Zoom. This is an opportunity to learn more about the FSPA’s commitment to the Laudato Si’ Action Platform, how ongoing efforts fit under the seven goals and how FSPA will develop future programs and projects to increase action to address our ecological crisis.

“The goals include a response to Cry of the Earth, response to Cry of the Poor, Ecological Economics, Adoption of Simple Lifestyles, Ecological Education, Ecological Spirituality and an emphasis on Community Engagement and Participatory Action,” explains Beth Piggush, integral ecology director for FSPA who serves as the Laudato Si’ promoter. “Our call is to view our actions through a Laudato Si’ lens and step up efforts to care for creation and promote an environmentally sustainable lifestyle.”

The “Laudato Si’ and FSPA” presentation is free and open to all. Registration is required at fspa.org/ecoaction. All registered guests will receive the Zoom link.
