This outdoor pilgrimage celebrates the 800th anniversary of the Canticle of Creation and the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis' encyclical, Laudato Si'. Join us at 10:30 a.m. for an 800-step pilgrimage on the grounds of St. Francis Woods on Saturday, October 4 (following 9:30 a.m. Mass in Queen of Angels Chapel, 9201 W. St. Francis Road, Frankfort, IL). As we journey, we will renew our commitment to live in harmony with one another, with Mother Earth, and with the Cosmos. Let this pilgrimage be a time of prayer, of silence, and a time to enjoy one another’s company as we celebrate creation.
We will begin at the chapel parking lot, journeying, by path and on foot, through The Woods, to the Heritage Chapel and on to the courtyard.
