By Katie Mahon, Communications Manager

Last year, the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York, launched the Hearts Afire Podcast.

Since then, there have been two seasons of the Hearts Afire Podcast consisting of 20 total episodes that have been live-streamed on YouTube, then distributed on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Audible.

The most-watched episode on YouTube in our second season was Sr. Monica Paul Fraser, OP’s discussion of the Meaning of 60 Years of Religious Life. In addition, our most downloaded episode of season two was our Reflection on Advent, Christmas, and the New Year with Sr. BarbaraAnn Sgro, OP.

Moving forward, season three of the Hearts Afire Podcast will kick off on Wednesday, February 9th, and feature Sr. Arlene Flaherty, OP. During the episode, Sr. Arlene will discuss her efforts to end human trafficking through her ministry.

To watch the live broadcast of Sr. Arlene’s episode, subscribe to our YouTube channel. Please note that after the episode recording has concluded, an audio version of the Hearts Afire Podcast will be available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Audible, later in the day.

After Sr. Arlene’s episode, the next episode of the Hearts Afire Podcast will take place on February 23rd and feature guest Sr. Kathleen McManus, OP, who will discuss her new book and ministry.
