Sister Karen Rose will be installed as the 18th prioress of Saint Benedict’s Monastery, St. Joseph, Minn., on Sunday, June 4, 2023, during a private Rite of Installation ceremony in Sacred Heart Chapel. The public is invited to attend a Eucharist celebrating the installation at 1:30 p.m. on June 4, followed by a reception from 3–5 p.m. in the Gathering Place. Eucharist will be livestreamed.
S. Karen was elected prioress on Sunday, February 25, 2023, by the Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict. She currently serves as the monastery’s director of mission advancement and will succeed Sister Susan Rudolph, who has served as prioress since 2017.
