Sisters of Saint Dominic Launch Hearts Afire Podcast

In late March, the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York, launched the Hearts Afire Podcast. In this show, discussions about Faith, Advocacy, Ministry, Community, and Reflection will occur in thirty minutes or less.

Each season of the Hearts Afire Podcast will feature ten episodes recorded on a bi-weekly basis that includes various Sisters or Associates as guests.

Presently, the Hearts Afire Podcast is on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.

The first episode of the Hearts Afire Podcast was recorded on March 24th and featured Sr. Dorothy Maxwell, OP. During the episode, Sr. Dorothy discussed Holy Week and took listeners through a detailed explanation of each day’s meaning during Holy Week.

The second episode of the Hearts Afire Podcast took place on Wednesday, April 7th, and featured Sr. Miriam Catherine Nevins, OP.

During the episode, Sr. Miriam Catherine discussed why we celebrate the Easter season after Easter is over, the Sunday of Divine Mercy, and what the Easter season means to her.
