Sr. Viviane Vieira de Sousa Makes First Profession of Vows

Sr. Viviane Vieira de Sousa professed First Vows as a Franciscan Sister of the Sacred Heart on Saturday, Feb. 3, at a Saturday evening parish mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Icoaraci, Brazil.

"It was a day of blessings for us and our entire community!" said Sr. Kim Marie Wolf, who is one of the U.S. Sisters from the motherhouse in Frankfort, IL, who attended the ceremony in Brazil. She recounted that young ladies dressed in gold danced as the Word was brought in by a young boy dressed as St. Francis accompanied by a little girl dressed like St. Clare and carrying a monstrance.

"Sr. Viviane’s radiance and joy was so evident during the ceremony and the whole day," said Sr. Kim Marie.
