René Backe is a member of the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes from Wisconsin. With an academic background in elementary education and educational administration and supervision, she was an elementary and junior high teacher and principal for 36 years for several schools in the Midwest. After serving as novice directress for her community, she earned a master’s degree in Christian Spirituality and certificates in spiritual and retreat direction.

Begoña Costillo is a member of the Order of St. Augustine and lives in the Monastery of the Incarnation in Lima, Peru. She entered religious life in 2012; since then she has lived in Spain, Italy and Peru.
