Patiola Molia, from Tonga, is a member of the Sisters of Our Lady of Nazareth, in Tamuvua, Fiji. After teaching in secondary education for a few years in Tonga, she entered the community and taught high school in the Diocese of Fresno, California, and in Tonga. She received catechetical training in California and later in the Dioceses of Tonga and Niue, completed a certificate in spiritual direction, and a master's in theology in Quezon City, Philippines. She served as assistant novice mistress in the novitiate in Fiji, as novice directress, and in the general administration of the congregation in Namadi Heights, where she is still a council member, secretary for her congregation, and the formator for junior professed sisters. She also serves as the secretary for the Conference for Major Superiors in the Pacific.

The COVID-19 situation in Fiji

The negatives of COVID-19 feel overwhelming at times but there are positives too. We sisters keep thinking of new ways to work with the people to strengthen their faith.
