Whether your students are in the classroom or learning online, mark these dates to enhance events and themes with GSR in the Classroom.

September 1-October 4: Recognize the Season of Creation with our environment resources.

September 14: Discuss the pandemic with your students using our coronavirus response lessons.

September 18-24: National Catholic Migration Week is an ideal time to explore how sisters support migration around the world.

October 4: The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi is a great day to celebrate care for God’s creation by using our environment resources.

November 5-11: National Vocation Awareness Week takes on richer meaning with our vocations lessons.

November 12-18: Discover Catholic Schools Week is a time to discover the ways that sisters continue to teach us through their witness.

December 3: Advent begins, and our Advent series lets students prepare spiritually with sisters for Christmas.

January 1-31: National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month and Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

January 28-February 3: Celebrate Catholic Schools Week is another chance to celebrate the teaching legacy of women religious.

February 1-28: Black History Month helps students sharpen their focus on race relations

February 8: The feast of St. Josephine Bakhita is a day when the church celebrates a day of prayer and awareness about human trafficking.

February 14: Ash Wednesday starts our journey of Lent, journeying with the guidance of sisters.

March 8-14: Catholic Sisters Week invites us to explore vocations and many other aspects of religious life.

April 22: Earth Day celebrates creation and the work sisters do as stewards of the environment.
